T-1 HAS ARRIVED!

January 30, 2007 · No Comments

Perhaps my title is a little early…we don’t officially have our T-1 yet…but AT&T did come out today and begin wiring and setting up our premise equipment. They did discover we have a fault in our wiring between the street box and our building, but everything is still on track. I was in meetings all day but did manage a couple pictures of our new addition to the telephone room. Our T-1 is suppost to be active before the February 23rd completion date…phones won’t be switched over until the last week. And I did just get our new statc IP list from TDS, very exciting! Will keep you posted.

Katharion Update

January 26, 2007 · No Comments

As we near our 30-day trial of Katharion, I am very happy with the results. In a weeks time we will have maybe 5 spam messages throughout our entire organization slip through. A simple email to spam@katharion.com of the message means we never see it again. In the last day this is what Katharion has stopped for us…very happy with its effectiveness and of course the price is very reasonable.

Look What We Retired!

January 25, 2007 · No Comments

Its almost embarassing to show, but we just retired this little beauty from our Facilities Department. Its an old school, Pentium 2 Gateway 300mhz. We upgraded it to one of our new thin client devices that I have mentioned previously. What a speed difference!

After some frustrations and management issues with B2Evolution I have decided to give WordPress a shot. We’ll see how it goes. Due to my busy schedule I will not be migrating my other posts, sorry.
